An inner core of aluminum ensures that foods heat quickly and evenly. All cookware in Cuisinart's Chef's Classic line is oven-safe up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit.

My current set of pots & pans are not setting flat on my new stove top and so do not heat up well. This new Chef Classic pot sits flat on the stove top and heats up quickly and evenly. Very easy to clean with a little vinegar. I look forward to adding more pieces of this collection to my set and giving away my Wolfgang Puck set!
