Among the chapters it is appreciated to summarize key takeaways, this assures we truly understand the section. Following the takeaways gives us action items; bravo for holding us accountable to what was learned while giving us some ideas on how to make this a reality. It is very easy to read something and internally say “I will remember what I read” and “tomorrow I think I will try” yet with the busy lives we have we often forget either or both, especially while starting a new path or career. Within the chapters Lida has given us a thought process workbook which keeps us grounded and minimizes frustration. While the questions are not long in nature there is enough to question and spark us to truly look at ourselves and our personal brand. If we are honest with the questions and ourselves often, we may identify those areas which need attention so we can live up to our personal brand an authentic self. While most will use these lessons for work one can also think of their family and home life as well. To truly live up to our personal brand and authentic self all aspects of our lives must be considered. This book helps us to jumpstart our careers however for those of us who have followed Lida's valuable words it reminds us to continue to jumpstart ourselves, our energy and always assess where we are and what we need for this moment in our lives. If we do not continue to evolve and learn stagnation will overcome us leaving confusion and perhaps anger toward those who continue to build a positive personal brand.
