The mattress took close to 72 hours to fully rise. I turned on a space heater snd ceiling fan the next morning, that made it rise faster. I slept on it that night, it was wonderful. I will add that the 1st day I didn't get the mattress unwrapped until around 3 PM. I put this in a water bed frame, it wouldn't slide into the frame until the next day. Once it rose to about 10 to 12 inches it slid right in.
