Needed To Improvise The Installation Hardware.

First bug shield I received had four scratches on it all in one area. Contacted Real Truck and they sent me a replacement. Second one had a blemish on it as well though it was in an area that went under the hood so I kept the product. As stated in many other reviews, the hardware for installing is not good. The fastener assemblies that hold the shield to the hood would not hold and I had to improvise to install. The overall appearance looks great on the truck. I guess time will tell how well this product holds up, especially with the way I needed to improvise the hardware in order to install.

Install went well. Watching installation video really made it easy. Hardest part was getting clips to slide onto edge if hood. Used small bolts as temporary spreaders to get clips started and then removed them to slide the rest of the way. Of course my 83 year-old arms are weaker than more youthful installers who may not have the same problem. Quite pleased with appearance and hoping they eliminate some rocks on trip to Alaska this summer.
