Good simple watch

I have had several of these watches, and found that with consistent use, the band will eventually fall apart. But I love them so much, I just buy another. Would be nice to add some small features to modernize this watch (my first one would have been a decade ago, when technology was a bit different). I really like the size of this watch, it is easy to use and really comfortable. If they improved this to also include a step counter that would be great, but it is also pretty good the way it is.
