If you really need king size you will be not only be disappointed, you might be angry. Look at photos. I just got these two days ago and wanted to report the mischaracterization of these socks. You'd think that king size tube socks should come up to the knee. These are closer to crew height. In the photo with two socks, the top one is a tube sock I've had for a couple of years and the bottom one is this brand new tube sock, unwashed. (Yes, the new ones are tube socks) They're virtually the same length (20.5”), until you put them on. The old sock comes up over my calf completely and to the bottom of my knee. If you're buying tube socks, you know this is what you're looking for! The unwashed new sock came up about 2" shy of that on me, when pulled hard. I'm 5'-7", not exactly tall! And I wear a shoe size of 9. The package states that it fits sizes 9-15. It doesn't specify whether that's shoe size or sock size. The description here states: SIZING DETAILS: Sock size 13-16 will fit men's shoe sizes 12-15. Yeah, right. After washing and wearing around for a couple of hours I took another photo. I didn't want you to have to see my hairy legs, but it was necessary. Take a look at the measurement there and you can compare how it will come up on you. In case you can't see the photo well, the measurements are 11” from floor up my leg when I would need it to be about 16” to cover my calf! You do the math. Yes, you can see that I could pull them up some, but what does that say? It says they won't stay up! You see, that's the point of coming over the calf. It really helps them stay up better when they're up over the thicker part of your leg to where it starts narrowing as it meets your knee. Physics at work. They say it's 80% cotton. I can't dispute that for sure, but they don't feel like cotton that I'm used to. They only and best thing about them is that they're not too thick or thin. They're just right in that department. You really shouldn't want a thick sock. Thinner is better. At this price I'm already going to too much trouble to write this review and certainly will not go to the trouble to send back. But I'm hoping to save at least a few people from buying them. I would not buy them again ever. And, given the incorrect descriptions, I have doubts about Yacht and Smith altogether now. The only thing they could do to salvage it is ship me new socks that actually match the product description, explaining there was some kind of error. I'm not holding my breath.
