Simplisafe lock review.

The Simplisafe Lock is easy to install with very easy to follow directions. I like being able to use a PIN instead of a key. I only whish that you could assign a temporary PIN with an expiration date for contractors or any body else that you don't want permanent access. To give temporary access you have to assign a PIN then delete their name and PIN after the work is done. I also like that it works with my Simplisafe alarm system. The instructions says to use the bolts that came with your existing lock. Be care not to overtighten because the bolts will protrude out on the other side of the lock. A couple of bolts come inside the box under the packing material, maybe they are not as long I don't know.

Easy to install, works as intended

The SimpliSafe lock is easy to install by following the included instructions. It looks nice and works with your existing PINs when paired with your system. Our only hiccup was that our keypad did not have “Lock” as an option to add a new device and did not offer any updates. A quick and easy call to SimpliSafe Customer Support fixed the issue, updated our system, and allowed me to easily add the lock as a device. We wanted this lock to use for showing our house while we are trying to sell it FSBO. This os a great option for us to control who can come and go and know when the house is being accessed.
