I work in a very loud manufacturing facility. Screaming over machines and earplugs is common. Most radios can be heard at about 10 ft away and then they fade out. This radio can be heard nearly from 50 ft. with clear sound, and that's not at full blast. The bass is very good as well. Worth it.
