This remastered and expanded version of the classic album is a well deserved treat for any Who fan and offers some classic tracks and rarities that really showcase the diversity of the band. I bought the vinyl version back in 1974, the year it was originally released, and thought it was a fantastic collection of songs that paralleled the "Meaty, Beaty, Big and Bouncy" album. The remastered and expanded CD has additional odd songs that weren't pulled from the archives initially. Of course, vinyl LPs couldn't hold as much information as a CD but the original album still offered a wonderful cross section of the band's catchy rock songs and oddities. It's not an album I would recommend for someone who is just beginning to discover The Who but it is a fabulous collection of the band's work during the mid 70s period prior to the loss of drummer Keith Moon.
