            Holy Moley - I Have Fibro

            Holey Moley! I did not want to get on the band-wagon of a muscle massage gun, but Im glad I did. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia and, quite frankly, it scared me! The thought of something percussing on my body made me cringe. Some days I can barely stand a blanket on my body - some days it only feels like a fell down a flight of stairs. When a friend told me that they were using a massage gun on him at occupational physical therapy, I talked to a few more people. My son said they used it on his back at the chiropractor. I havent been able to get cortisone shots and epidurals since being in quarantine, so I bought it. I decided if I hated it, I would give it to one of my adult children LOL. I thought of it more as a novelty rather than a true medical treatment. Again, holey moley - game changer! It feels so good on my back and shoulders. The muscle massage gun is a nice weight and it has a silicon(?) cover. It is not slippery but also does not feel rubbery - I wipe it off with an alcohol pad after each use. It feels very balanced in my hand. I like the large ball attachment and the highest speed (there are 30 speeds) - it actually feels more comfortable than a lower speed for me. My husband likes the smaller head to massage an old shoulder injury. I can use it myself on my shoulders and neck. It has become part of my overall treatment plan to manage pain and help me sleep. Nice case to store everything in.

            Helped with headaches

            I regularly get strong headaches due to stiff muscles on the back and neck (probably also from using devices). I also play 1-2 times a week outdoor soccer with friends and get sore muscles for couple of days after each game. I thought if this works as described, would be amazing. Even if it helped with one of those problems. And I am happy to share that the massager does work. Just experiment with the settings, speed, heads (after reading the manual) and see what works best for you.
