Hold On!

I used a competitive product for a while, but after a year the suction cup mechanism broke and the mount just bounced around while I drove. I saw the Steelie system, liked the robustness of the design and bought my first one. I was immediately impressed with how well it was constructed and how simple it was to set up and use. My wife saw it and wanted one for her car. She's also very pleased with it. Fast forward several months and my company is getting ready to do a demonstration where we were doing a live drive to show people our platform and app for effectively eliminating distracted driving. Without hesitation I bought 3 more Steelie mounts to place in the demo vehicle to hold phones so we could maximize the audience with each drive. They performed perfectly. In fact, several of the participants asked about them and indicated that they were going to get one for their car. And, one of my colleagues asked about them as well and plans to make a purchase for his and his wife's cars.

The case itself is great and doesn't add too much profile to the iPhone 7 form factor. One small issue is that you have to push pretty rigidly against the power button for a response. Additionally, to turn the ringer on or off requires an angling of your fingertip or a fingernail, but once you get used to it is fine. The protection is unmatched overall and I don't have any modules for the case yet, but the accent clip (I got a silver/gold/rose gold combo alongside my case) is nifty; I can effect a subtle change to my case's aesthetic quite simply and quickly.

I purchased this for use with an iPhone 7 and a Square chip reader. **Please be advised that this cases DOES NOT have an integrated screen protector. **Also be advised that for whatever type of apparatus you are trying to attach to the case, there is an accessory clip that is needed. Please check the apparatus website for details. The nitty gritty is the case with the Square reader attached has help improve our speed of payment for customers to our food truck. This setup has enabled us to ditch the bulky tablet that we were using. The Square Reader with accessory clip attaches firmly to the case and holds on tight. Our customers have even commented that they like the new system. The only upgrade I would like to see is an integrated screen protector similar to the Defender series of cases.
