This storage cube unit is super cute. It took me about 1-2 hours to assemble pieces together. It passed the the first night without being collapsed. Lol (Some review pictures did scare me btw) The assembling is very easy. The connection is “snap lock”, not sure what to call, you'll feel the click when pushing the wire and the plastic joint piece together. I didn't use the hammer tho. One all pieces are snapped/ locked together, the whole unit feels solid and sturdy. It's for a light storage. I wouldn't use to store heavy stuff. I use this to keep all my light weight pantry items. Happy with my purchase

bought for toddler grand baby!

The legs down come all the way down but it's very sturdy. I've been down it a couple times as a 108 pound women to test it and it holds up! The kids love it!
