The Yonico 12122 Glass Door Rail and Stile router bit will make glass doors with one reversible router bit. Use with up to 1" stock. Made with C3 micro grain carbide, Yonico router bits will endure multiple use providing a smooth and detailed finish every time. Reversible glass door and window router bits differ from regular rail and stile bits by rabbeting the entire back of the frame. Window panes can break and if the back was not rabbeted, the only way to replace the pane would be to dismantle the window frame to be able to insert the new pane of glass. To keep the glass in place use standard glass retaining strips and secure with brad nails and a brad pusher. You also have the option to create your own decorative retaining strip from this bit as well.
