This Original Filter Bros™ HEPA filter is made of two distinct parts, both designed to maximize the quality of the air you breathe. First, an activated charcoal layer removes odors from the air and captures larger air particulates. Second, a thick HEPA-like filter captures particles as small as 0.3 microns. As with all genuine fit Filter Bros products, this filter is both ultra-high quality and affordable. Our Premium HEPA 115115 size 21 Filter a is designed to maximize the quality of the air you breathe. The Filter Bros recommend replacing filters every 12 months with average use and the Carbon Filter once every 3 months. NOTE: For the 5500-2 model, please use the included charcoal and HEPA filters, don't use the washable charcoal filter that came with the machine. For the 9500 model, please do not use the machine's cage and instead insert the filter directly into the machine.
