Replacement for Toyota driver side mirror

Nice replacement

I knocked the driver's side mirror off my 1999 Camry and did not want to pay a shop $200+ to replace it, so I decided to try it myself. I found a couple of YouTube videos demonstrating the replacement which did not involve removing the door panel. I first spray painted the PartsGeek mirror with a fairly exact paint match from O'Reilly. The trickiest part was removing the black plastic cover on the inside of the door as some of the plastic mounts end up snapping off. The replacement mirror is lighter than the OEM mirror and appears to be made with thinner materials. But once installed the electric motor worked perfectly and I doubt anyone can tell the difference. Not bad for <$30 and a few hours work.

High quality product. As described. Installation was a breeze and the part fit perfectly as the original part. Selecting the proper mirror type (powered, heated, etc.) from Parts Geek was also very easy as all the features were specified. Price was very attractive. Highly recommended.
