This Billet Aluminum LS Engine Adapter features a built in 180Â°F Thermostat to help reduce engine wear and horse power loss. The oil thermostat allows the oil to bypass the cooler until it reaches 180Â°F at which point the internal thermostatic valve will close and force 100% of the oil through the cooler while maintaining a constant pressure system. This process allows the engine to achieve the ideal operating temperature quicker before passing the oil through the cooler.

This is a thermostatically-controlled GM LS billet aluminum bypass adapter that has a valve that forces the oil through the cooler once the oil reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit. This adapter is excellent for use in colder climates since it helps to warm the engine quicker, can flow up to 20 GPM and contains multiple ports for additional accessories and sensors.
