Blitzmax BM-BT05 Transmitter Receiver Bluetooth 5.2 Channel Sterio Receiver with 2 in 1

I have a Zune HD mp3 player that I recently got back into using. However, trying to use it with headphones connected via an aux cable while doing dishes lead to several times of my arm disconnecting the cable and worse... close calls of almost pulling it into the water. So, I knew it was time I brought this 2010 device into the modern age. I bought another bluetooth transmitter, but unfortunately, it was for vehicles predominately, so I bought this instead. Thr BlitzMax is exactly what I needed. I use a pair of Skullcandy Crusher ANC2 headphones, which connected almost instantly (I ensured bluetooth on my phone was also off). But my Crusher Evo headphones took some figuring out. Turned out that while yes, these headphones will connect automatically to my phone, I manually had to activate the pairing mode by pressing and holding the button for lowering the volume and then it finally connected to the BlitzMax. I mention this because I spent about twenty minutes trying to change the CODE setting, thinking that was the issue. My only two qualms is that even with the headphones connected, I never get a solid blue light, so I have to cover the device because the repeated flashing is annoying. Also, the aux cable it comes with is sensitive, so if moved, it would easily cause static. That other transmitter I mentioned came with a solid metal aux connector and so I swapped out and am using that instead. If you won't be moving the device and it will sit on a stable surface, the cord won't pose a problem, but I'm using my MP3 player mostly in bed to relax. This device does what it says it will do and, barring some issues with my headphones, is really easy to use. I'm happy I don't have to be tethered to my Zune anymore.
