The sock material is much thinner than what I am used to; the content is 60% cotton, 40 % polyester. I'm not sure if that was in the original description, but for some reason I thought I was buying 100% cotton. Also, there is not much stretch to them at all, so I'm hoping what little they do have lasts a good while. But I can see these becoming loose and unwearable much sooner than brand name socks. When the package arrived, the socks were plain white, not white with blue heels/toes (I don't mind, but a future purchaser might not like receiving a different item than ordered). On the sock label, it reads "boys size 4-6", which I'm not sure if that's different from girls sizes at this point? The distinction between boy and girl size was not mentioned in the description.
