Try this for yourself if you're the type that doesn't believe other people's reviews. but you'll be wasting your time! Not to mention money. I tried these things twice! Ordered one, tried it, it didn't work as advertised. Returned it through Walmart. Ordered another a few weeks later, tried it again. Still same result. Returned it at Walmart also. Thank God for good ole Walmart that they make it easy to return things. Now the reasoning for trying these twice. Look at Adobu's website. They show people at like an outdoor picnic type of setting, out in the sun! The first one I tried, I did a similar setup but didn't even go as far as having this in the sun. I placed a frozen container of ice cream in it, and that IS after freezing their inner plastic-covered "gel pack" that's inside the metal shell. I set the unit on a table in the COVERED back patio, in the shade! And yes this was done in the summer but not out at no outdoor picnic like they show in their advertisement picture. The ice cream was TOTALLY melted in just 2 hrs. when I checked it. And no, I didn't open it at all until that 2 hour mark! I returned that first one after that. Weeks later I kept having doubts, like how could they advertise something like this that they say keeps ice cream "for hours" if in fact it really doesn't?!! So that's when I went ahead and ordered another one, and here's exactly why- I figured it must work. that maybe it only works in a cooler environment, so, after freezing the gel pack for 24 hours!, I retried this second one but left it on the kitchen counter, in the nice cold air conditioned house! Result- no difference whatsoever! Checked the ice cream in 2 hours and it was totally melted again! That's it, these are pieces of junk! I really wanted one of these but they don't work, unless maybe you're gonna take your frozen ice cream out of the freezer, place it in here, and eat it in maybe 15 minutes or so, not no number of hours like their info says. But if you were really gonna eat your ice cream that fast, then you don't need one of these worthless EXPENSIVE things anyway! John F. San Antonio, Tx.
