Made hair cherry black

Bought this 2 weeks ago and put over freshly blonde box dye lightened hair (for reference I have back hair but use blonde box dye to take to a level 5 brown), the consistency was fine and it smelled nice and cinnamony but if turned my hair CHERRY BLACK. I had to use vitamin c and shampoo to try colour remove and damage control. It ended up darker than wanted and barely any red colour. Very disappointed and would recommend choosing 1 shade lighter or a different brand

The use of a clarifying shampoo, followed by a deep conditioner can sometimes soften a color that is too dark. We also suggest that you avoid the use of heat (ex: blow dryers, curling irons) which can further set the color in. New formula is shocking

Have used this for two years and the change in formula has absolutely ruined the product. Doesn't even dye new growth properly. Colour doesn't stick so now I am left with banding that can be seen when I am in daylight. I beg please change the formula back to old one I can't cope.
