Before getting this fone I was going to order a hearing impaired fone @ a cost of $229.oo to meet the features I needed. I'm pleased to say W/ equalizer, audio assist & volume control I'm able to hear and be heard through the speaker with ease, even from across room with great clarity. All of the other features R a bonus.

...My previous AT&T model. This latest purchase was an upgrade based on the reviews that the speaker function was more than satisfactory. My previous AT&T phone was a simpler, basic phone similar to this one in the color black, which somehow showed up dings more easily; sort of a cheap look after a short while. I didn't appreciate the ugly greenish color backlighting of the display screen making it difficult to view nor the poor quality speaker functionality. I'm SO, SO PLEASED with this upgraded purchase in the speaker quality, display screen clarity & backlit color, and the overall appearance. Worth every extra dollar I paid for this one!
