Apply this Xeroform petrolatum-impregnated dressing with 3% bismuth tribromophenate on a fine mesh gauze to keep things clean and deodorize the area. It conforms and clings to contours for ease of application and adherence. This bacteriostatic dressing is used for compression therapy and lightly exuding wounds to protect and heal the wound. Protecting deep or shallow wounds, the sterile gauze dressing helps keep lesions moist for non-traumatic effects on patients when dressing changes occur. Each petrolatum-impregnated gauze comes in an individual packet, limiting infection and cross contamination. Keeping the wound moist, the gauze helps with autolytic debridement for a natural healing environment.
