What a beautiful rocker! Let me start off to say it is perfect for the expectant mother! The rocker comes with a manual, easy to put together, it comes with everything you need. The cloth is made of a microfiber/velvet, and the shade color is a pale Pink. I had my husband to put the rocker together for our expecting Mother (our daughter) lives in our home. This is her second child and her second rocking chair. I must say that this one is far better in so many ways! The Velvet is super soft, the seating is firm, arm rest, back rest and head rest is very comfortable, the legs is made from a metal, very sturdy. The rocker legs is made out of real wood. The rocker rocks evenly, genital and quiet.
In the owners manual, it states to take a damp cloth to wipe it down on regular bases to keep the dust off. I wouldn't use any kind of bleach or furniture cleaner on the velvet. I suggest using a mild soap on the "opps" mistakes fairly quickly and let it air dry. We love the shade being a pale Pink, and with the windows open, it shows it's beauty!
This rocker isn't just for expecting Mom's. I am a small person and I sat in it myself, it was so comfortable on my back and easy to glide. My husband is right at 200 lbs, he sat in the rocker for a short time, he said it was too small for him. As far as weight, it will hold at least 200 lbs with no problem. I like it so much that I may trade out our living room recliner to give this comfortable rocker a home in my living room. It is perfect for my back problems. For now, this beauty will sit in my daughter's room awaiting for our second grand baby. We have a son who is expecting around the same time.
