Go Diego Go: Safari Rescue - Nintendo Wii

I've been trying to find inexpensive titles for my 3 year old son and my 6 year old daughter. Go Diego Go has probably been one of the best. It is just a little too hard for my 3 year old and just a little too easy for my 6 year old. The integration of the Wii controls, and the addition of the adult helper feature is great. The 3 year old could sort of play, but got a bit frustrated. So, I just gave him a controller that wasn't being used, and did the running and jumps. I let him press the action buttons, and he pretend did the Wiimote actions with me. The game's helper graphics for the actions are wonderful and he played right along. My 6 year old played it to completion in her first sitting - and loved every second. Both kids like the animation and the story. And, the levels are a perfect balance of forgiving and exploratory. You can go any where and in any order, and still end up at the end. My only complaint on this game is that they could have done a bit more levels or difficulty adjustment or something for repeat play. But that's a minor complaint for a game that gets so many things right for its intended age group.
