Magatama
one of the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan, it ensures good luck and protection. 'Ma' means good reputation and harmony with the rest of the world, while 'Ga' means good luck and divine protection. From early on, the magatama symbolized "avoidance of evil" or the "magic of good fortune." Its origins are clouded in uncertainty.
