good for everybody
i would recommend this product because this reel can take a beating and keep on going ive let other people use it and its very easy to fix when they get line tangled up in the reel........its easy to use and its a easy reel to use .........its for any person that likes to go fishing .

I have not found this combo no where else. i had to email zebco to find out anything about it. First off the rod is rated 20 lb. test, i would have guess more it is a solid fiber glass upper section, more glass than you will ever see on a ugly stik. and glass rods are still some of the most strongest fishing rods today. This is one of zebcos best looking rod. The reel being a 808 is made the same as a authentic 808 and catfish fighter except its handle it has a double while they both have single handle.This reel also has a metal front cover and they do not. All three of them do not have any bearings they use brass bushings, this works good as long as you keep them lubed. Only 808 MAG, 808 BOW FISHER and 808 SALTFISHER has bearings , these are better reels. but i have use all of them and the hawg has work with out any problems. I only use them for catfish , bottom fishing and have used large mono up to 30 lb test xl trilene , and 25 lb p line with no casting problems. A lot of problem with reels start at the store with people reeling the reels with the drag off this will twist the line in the reel , sometimes damage to the reel and line . make sure this has not happen before you buy.
