The Excalibur 21 in. variable speed scroll saw's unique design provides a stable platform when cutting straight or on an angle. Unlike other scroll saw where the table is tilted for angles cuts, the entire head of the Excalibur tilts 45 deg to the left or the right. This allows the user to better control the work piece on a flat table surface, for more safe and accurate cut, and the covenient foot switch. Solidly built upper and lower parallel arms keep the blade straight with minimal blade deflection allowing for precise cuts. The Flexi shaft dust blower clears saw dust dust from your work area as you saw to give you precise cuts with a clear line of vision.

Poor quality
When opening the box found parts laying all in the bottom of box. The dust valve was broken off and I had to put it back on. After changing the blade twice the blade tightening knob stripped and had to loosen the set screw on opposite side to get it to hold blade in. Never had this happen before in 25 years with other saws. When I tested the speed of the saw, it being mounted on a table, the vibration was so bad the speed control knob fell off. I had to put it back on. Needless to say this was enough for me to return it. Very poor workmanship and quality compared to other brands. May have just been a lemon but I don't want to get another one like it.
