Made a plain lamp a dimming one!

My uncle is an electrician and is always taking regular thing and making them better! So as soon as I saw these, I knew he could, and would, take my regular, cheap lamps and turn them into lamps I could dim! It only took him a few hours to rewire two regular lamps and make them newer than new by putting on the rotary cord switch lamp dimmers. He said they were made sturdy and the dimmer slide is smooth and easy to turn. I definitely recommend these to anyone who likes to DIY and turn something regular into something super cool and awesome!!

Don't waste your money.

Terrible. No instructions. Walmart website for item says “Weld the cable to the terminals”. What terminals? Is this a pass-thru for the lamp wire? I do light soldering, but I'd have to be an electrical engineer to figure this thing out. How about at least one picture? Not worth the 10 bucks or my time to try to return this worthless item.
