I have used this product before. I have purchased this item multiple times, with different patterns. Each time I've used it, I have loved every design that they have. I use my own colors that I purchased. And the patterns still come out beautiful. I have used different size hooks. The darning needles, in my opinion, Are not big enough for my yarn to go into so I wind up having to use bigger ones that have bigger holes because I sometimes use a size 5 or six yarn that's more puffy. The book is basically Beginner friendly, but I'm pretty skilled and don't really need to use this book, but I do enjoy what patterns they have. Depend depending on projects I am between a beginner to an intermediate or an intermediate to almost an advanced.
