Will she keep her vow?

Violet has made a vow to find out what was behind her husband's death. She owns Fragrant Sentiments, a flower shop in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin in 1891. I love the parts of poems that introduce each chapter. They are all about love and flowers, a language Violet is well versed in and lends to her suggestions to customers which flowers would best suit the situation. Since her husband, Roger, died in a freak accident, she has run the shop alone. Enter Holly and her uncle Devon Moore, seeking flowers for an upcoming wedding. Violet hires Holly to help in the shop and thereby a relationship blooms with Devon. Violet starts to receive beautifully penned love notes. The trouble is, she can't figure out who her secret admirer is. She narrows it down to three likely men: Devon, a wealthy lumber baron, Webster, her delivery man and helper at her gardens, and Frankie, whom she knew when she was younger and who is visiting his mother. This was a well written story that moves along with some intrigue and some soul searching and a likable faith thread. *I received a complimentary ebook copy from the author. I was not required to give a favorable review. All opinions are my own.*
