Shipwreck coinage comes in a variety of states, often being heavily encrusted from its time in salt water. This "Biscuit" is a Silver Ducatoon with the majority of its encrustation left on the coin. It was recovered from the wreckage of the Vilegenthart.
This coin comes with its original dealer tag from Dan Sedwick.
This coin had most of its coral and debris still on the surface the coin.
Obverse: Armored knight riding right.
Reverse: Netherlands arms supported by crowned lions.
