I bought a Craftsman 20v drill about 3 years ago. My 1 acre lot requires drilling far from the house. Much better than running extension cords. The first battery is 1.5 ah, 30 wh. About 3% of a kwh. It lasts about 20 minutes of actual drilling time, depending on the force applied. I wanted more reserve, so that I didnt have to stop in the middle of a project. These are 3 ah, 54 wh. About double the power. I can now finish any project without stopping for lack of power. These might be slightly lighter than the original battery, the same size in all directions (The 9 ah are bulkier). Its a a nice weight for working with. The 20 v drill and battery (improved over the years) is a good system. This battery has the same power display button as the oem one. The spring loaded button to remove the battery takes a lot less force to remove the battery.
