Helpful resource

Wonderful numberlines to help scholars remember. As a six grade teacher refreshing the memory of scholars about negative intergers and using absolute value this resource really helps scholars visualize the concepts. The wipe of service with the numbers are helpful. They seem pretty durable but are just thick pieces of paper so I have asked scholars to be mindful. I have been utilizing during small groups and it has reduced the amount of scratch paper with being able to utilze the wipe off section.

For visual learners, the best number line available.

At first I felt like this was a bit too expensive for a paper product, but I've found that we've used this number line constantly during the past year that we've had it. Repositioning the numbers in one long line or stacked together ten above ten helped the children visualize numbers in different ways. At 4 and 6, they've both mastered counting by odds and evens, and skip counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's. We consult it frequently during addition and subtraction. I specifically ordered this line because of it's alternating red and blue pattern, which really helped the children grasp odds and evens. This product is not laminated, and is simple printed-upon cardstock. I recommend laminating it for classroom use. But for our homeschooling purposes, it's held up excellently during the past year. Bonus: The cardboard packaging includes complete pictures of each segment of the number line, which I was able to carefully cut out and tape together as a quick reference on my children's desks. They love their mini number lines that look just like the real one, and use it when solving problems.
