I purchased a pair of theses shoes from a local supplier 2 1/2 years ago. I work iB construction with these.. very good quality, I'd say just as good as redwings. Now I have had to replace 4 pair of shoe laces and about 5 pair of arch support insoles over the years. It's just recently I've worn through the bottoms of these shoes. Again 2 1/2 years.. my Fitbit avereges me at 15,000 steps a day.. 6 days a week I typically work with these shows Only thing I'd have to say is get wide versions I've had the normal size and it fits a little funny. I love the composite toes. Doesn't get near as gold on toes through winter weather. Below is a picture of the brand new one verde my 2 1/2 year old now retired one..

Previously had timberland pro titians and was really satisfied with them. These shoes are not up to that standard. They are ok but not great with fit or comfort. I hope they perform well in the field,time will tell.
