Key item features

These specially threaded screws are designed to cut threads as an they are driven into the untapped holes. A self-tapping screw requires in a pre-drilled pilot hole from the correct size drill. Recommended drill bit sizes vary, depending on the diameter of screw to be used, type of screw points A, B, AB, and High-Low and structural thickness of the substrate.

Self tapping screws with coarse thread and a gimlet point. Recommended for use in thin gauge sheet metal 0.015 to 0.050 thick. Used with drilled or punched untapped holes in sheet metal, resinous plywood, and composite materials.
