By designing an integral component locking system, Velox broadheads are superior to other broadheads using a carbon steel surface interface. Tip, ferrule, blades, and locking collar fuse together to magnify shearing strength protection. Velox series of broadheads are designed with an integrated, threaded ferrule locking system that uses fixed blades. The body of the broadhead is made from stainless steel and has a hardened carbon chisel point. The 100-grain broadhead with .032-inch thick, razor-sharp, stainless-steel blades is locked with the threaded ferrule and provides a devastating 1.25-inch cutting diameter.
