I am using this table as a TV tray and for writing. Great to be able to adjust the height. The top is slipper so I use a piece of rubber liner paper on it so my plate etc. does not slide off. Add the casters or make stable with the other feet that come with it (it comes with both type of feet). Do Not Over Tighten Screws for it can crack the boards (take your time assembling and follow the instructions. Happy with my purchase. Linda
