Great price on the HD Unit

Works great ! Installation was pretty straight forward. Replaced a very old Sears 1/4 horse unit so had to redo the mounting parts. Old wooden door so needed carriage bolts that aren't provided. I can understand as the door thickness could vary. Luck for me I had some on hand. I will say it is built much lighter than what it replaced with more plastic. But what isn't. Price was great with a discount code. Cheaper than the big box stores. Be aware there seem to be two of these that appear to be the same. But this one has a heavier motor unit, rated for more weight and better warrantee. Happy with the purchase.

Genie is the best garage door opener.

Easy to install for me as I already had a two year old Genie that went haywire on me. So, I just changed out the motor head, and the electric eye beams , and then set up my remotes. This new 1/2 hp Genie seems to run smoother than my old one.
