This worked great for an area under my kitchen sink that had the pipes coming out of the ground. The contractor left a large area around the pipes that were not sealed. Since I installed the steel wool fabric roll - I have not had one mouse get under my sink!

It worked! Problem solved!

The steel wool is well packaged and I liked the fact that it came with scissors and gloves. I used one of the rolls to fill a rat hole that showed up in the garden. I unrolled the roll and shoved it down in with a broom handle then poured some gravel over it, and covered it with dirt. I had tried to fill the hole with dirt before but they kept digging it back out. It's been a week now and the hole is still closed. They were unable to redig. I say this is a satisfactory end to the problem! Try it if you have a problem with holes in your yard!
