The five stars are for the product now installed. FIRST I HAD TO FIND THE USB DONGLE. Before I bought this I had read a number of review some of which claimed that there was no dongle and others said it was hard to find. Forewarned is forearmed they say and so I emptied the box and looked. And looked. There was even a picture on the flap of the box that purported to show where the dongle could be found. It did not. I even looked inside the mouse because that is where it would be if I was buying just the mouse. Finally I found it stuck in one of the tabs on the side of the opening. Photo attached. Brilliant placement if you are trying to hide it. That took maybe five minutes. The rest took maybe two. All I had to do with the keyboard and mouse was remove the tab between the battery and connector, plug the dongle into my laptop and I was good to go. I was a bit concerned about how the feel of such an inexpensive keyboard might be. No need, it is just the way I like it. For what it is worth I bought this and a 24 " monitor to use with my laptop so that, when I am home, I can sit back and read the monitor without glasses.

Logitech Has always impressed me, low or high cost, the product always seems to be solid based on the amount you spend, Wireless connection with only one small dongle to connect, simple comfortable typing keyboard that requires 2 AA batteries, are provided , battery life is up to 36 months for the keyboard and up to 12 months for the mouse. The Mouse is a bit small, but manageable, But as a whole this combo seriously cant be beat at 19.99 (current price)
