I think 7 is pushing it for age appropriateness. I wish i had done more research before buying this, because Leapfrog has.more advanced options for older kids. however, it is still a great learning tool. It will read the story aloud %26 the child can follow along, or the. hild can use the pen and just tap on words they need help with. they can also plays games and the front of each book, that they have to look through the book to find a certain character %23 of x in so much time. ect

Lots of help during covid and use it for 3-year-old, con wishes it had Spanish also some of leapfrog other products do sadly this one does not !! Maybe it does after I upload it to pc and personalize it!! leapfrog has a habit of doing that personalized touch type of deal.
