Bought this to replace one of my old dining chair cushion that I got from IKEA before. As dining chair cushion, the thickness is appropriate. My old one was also thin. My dining chair is made from wood, so sitting there for a long time will eventually hurt. To me, this cushion works as supposed to. It is soft to touch, and very lightweight. Not bad at all. Will see how long it will last.
