I use this long grain %26 wild rice Rice A Roni whenever I make a shrimp casserole! It's one of my family's favorite dishes. We like the taste of the rice! We did not like the partially processed rice a roni in a bag! I will continue to use the box mix though!

Rice-a-Roni is always a great choice for a side dish. But I have to share my favorite way to use this kind with the wild rice in it. A very small dice on several carrots, add to two or three boxes in a large casserole dish that has been buttered very well. Use chicken broth for half the water. Then mix up. Add to pan and place a whole chicken that you have buttered and seasoned well. Bake at 350F. until chicken runs clear and the rice has absorbed all the broth. Fluff up the rice and serve from the pan. Delicious dinner and great leftover for lunch tomorrow. But you decide what's for dinner. Try all the Rice-a-Roni sides, you never know which one well be your favorite.
