This has been very helpful in training my 2 Labrador retrievers. They are very responsive to each setting. Very rarely do I have to use the shock feature; the vibration feature normally deters them, as well as the sound feature. One collar is black and the other is blaze orange. They are easily trimmed to fit the dogs as well. Waterproof is great - they are often swimming. Very happy with my purchase.
