The jury is still out

I received a pen that had been returned to Jerry's already. One of the included ink cartridges was empty with dry chucks of ink rattling around inside, and the converter still had bubbles of water inside. Previous owner cleaned the nib with black felt; I know because chunks of it were/are still stuck in the ribs. Does Jerry's return department not inspect returned items to make sure they are complete and in saleable condition? Boo, that's just not right. The pen has nice weight and feels good in the hand. The nib is scratchy, however, and clogs. I keep finding more black felt, so once I get all of that out it may be a very nice writing instrument. If that turns out to be the case, I will update my review.
