Medium was right size for my 50 pound Labrador, expandable so it's got lots of room for him to grow into. Price was deciding factor over any other brand/style. So easy to put on. Lift his front feet through one side then pull it up and snaps in the middle of the back. Two loops for your leash snap to make it impossible to accidently unsnap. I don't think he can wiggle out. One downside. My dog doesn't like the feeling. Maybe it's the total control I have over him when he wears it. No tugging or choking on a neck collar. I'm sure he'll get used to it. Very well built. Not sure about the complaints about wear and tear. It's not something you leave on all the time or they will likely try to rub off or roll.
