Hard Anodized aluminum is renowned for its efficiency with distributing heat quickly and evenly to the entire pan. Oven safe up to 430F and dishwasher safe, though hand wash is recommended. With this stockpot, you also get a Heat-Tempered Glass lid, which features a built in venting system and its own cool touch handle! As well as an additional cool touch handle on the aluminum body for easy carrying! THEY SAY IT’S STRONGER THAN STEEL: Our Hard Anodized collection has gone through a special oxidation process, forming a hardened layer over the base aluminum surface. This process makes our pans extremely resilient against corrosion and other reactions that cause an average pan to lose strength and emit potentially harmful chemicals. HEALTHIER COOKING: Our Non Stick Coating makes for a healthier meal without the need for butter or oils when cooking.
