Vickerman 6' x 36" Dakota Alpine Artificial Christmas Tree, Unlit

Love this tree. I was so excited when this tree was delivered that I opened it instead of waiting until closer to Christmas. Upon first inspection nothing was wrong. Curiosity made me want set the tree up. The tree comes in 3 sections : Top portion of the tree....bottom portion of the tree and the stand. The stand has a metal rod that is to slide into the bottom portion of the tree, thus a hole is already drilled into the bottom portion of the tree (which is made of wood). Unfortunately the drilled hole is NOT large enough to fit the stand into.... Good thing I found this flaw before Christmas so I can get the hole drilled a little larger to fit the stand. I think this is a simple fix because the tree really is beautifully crafted and I really do want to keep it and I'm really excited to use it this year. This only flaw is what prevented me in giving this product a five star rating.

Had to re-drill the whole in order to be able to put the top of tree onto the bottom. Once I did this I was able to attach and even though there is such a gap between the top and bottom. The bottom is like the bark of the tree and the top is not. Looks horrible. Would have been nice if not for the large gap and difference in pole/bark.
