[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not often that I open a package and think, "Wow! That's nice!" This vest was certainly one of those times. The overall design and construction is excellent, and there are enough tethering anchor points on this thing that anyone should be able to configure it effectively for their needs. The pockets for retractable lanyards have snaps that narrow their profile to help secure the yo-yo while in service. Pulling the cord forward does pull the vest away from the body, but I don't find it significant enough to be irritating and would rather tug a little at my vest rather than have a retractable bouncing around on my chest as I move through the day. The interior and exterior pockets provide ample space for small tools, pens, etc., some of which can be used while the tool is tethered to the vest with one of the included lanyards. The dual color reflective striping is beautifully loud and visible, The zipper (which I much prefer over velcro tabs) is large and smooth operating, and the terry cloth collar liner is a thoughtful detail bordering on genius. The slot in the back opens this vest up for use with a fall protection body harness, which is fantastic, but I myself use twin retractable lanyards and keep them attached to my harness, as constantly removing and reinstalling them is burdensome, so this is a feature that would see less use on my part. Low-light Confined Space work where the harness can be worn without the lanyards would be a great application for that configuration. Bottom line: this vest is nicely built, comfortably worn, and easy to see.
