The fast-drying aspect of this product made it difficult to work with - it dries a bit too quickly. I ended up with brush marks. After sanding the first coat, I started working with a sponge applicator rather than a brush and had better results. It provides a nice finish if you can get it smooth. I also had some areas that appeared dimpled. Research on the internet said that there was some kind of waxy product on the surface that would not allow it to adhere properly. The solution is to strip down to bare wood and start over. I was working on a bathroom vanity, which was stripped to bare wood, sanded, and wiped down with a damp cloth (nothing sticky or waxy), then stained with Old Masters stain. ??? I did three coats, sanding lightly between each - additional sanding/sealing in a few areas. I still ended up with some dimpling, but I can live with it. I'm happy overall with the end result.
